Computationally Efficient Approach to Implementation of the Chinese Remainder Theorem Algorithm in Minimally Redundant Residue Number System

Abstract In this paper, we deal with the critical problem of performing non-modular operations in Residue Number System (RNS). The Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) is widely used many modern computer applications. Throughout article, an efficient approach for implementing CRT algorithm described. structure rank RNS number, a principal positional characteristic residue code, investigated. It shown that number can be represented by sum inexact and two-valued correction to it. We propose new variant minimally redundant RNS, which provides low computational complexity calculation, its effectiveness analyzed concerning conventional non-redundant RNS. Owing extension adding excess modulo 2, calculation goes down from $O\left (k^{2}\right )$ O k 2 (k\right respect required modular addition lookup tables, where k equals moduli.
